Health Center Partners

The mission of Health Center Partners of Southern California (HCP) is to be the thought leader and innovative influencer of change in the health care marketplace, informing and inspiring its members and partners to enrich the patient experience and improve the human condition. HCP is a private, nonprofit association composed of 16 health center organizations (Federally Qualified Health Centers, Indian Health Centers, and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest) operating more than 135 primary care sites and serving over 925,000 individuals throughout San Diego, Imperial and Riverside Counties in Southern California. HCP was established as a 501(c)3 in 1977 by a group of San Diego community health centers with the purpose of capitalizing on economies of scale and to advocate on behalf of the community’s uninsured and underserved populations. A nexus of Southern California community health centers, HCP is the preeminent resource on the delivery of quality primary care to the safety net population. Ten of our members are participants in our HCCN.
